Dr. Rachel Hutson DC
Chiropractor
I was born and raised right here in Tennessee but lived in South Carolina while attending chiropractic school. Our family is very close and I've always lived in small rural communities my whole life.
I graduated with my degree in Exercise Science from Carson Newman University where I ran track and cross country. In the off-season, I weight lifted which is where I learned about chiropractic. I had injured my lower back while weightlifting and had always been skeptical about chiropractors. It wasn’t until I woke up one morning and couldn’t get out of bed that my mom forced me to go to a chiropractor. I’m forever grateful that she did because it led me to my dream career of changing lives through Chiropractic.
Not only did I see improvements with my injuries, but improvements in digestive health, allergies, and mental health.
This was when I learned about the innate healing potential within us all, and decided that I wanted to become a chiropractor.
I took some time off after graduating college to work as an Exercise Physiologist in inpatient as well as outpatient cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
Through this, I was able to develop my philosophy on health and wellness as a preventative and proactive approach to healthcare instead of reactive.
I attended Sherman College of Chiropractic where I focused on many different adjusting techniques for humans and animals. I spent most of my weekends attending chiropractic seminars and volunteering with children at a local equine therapy center.
My mission is to better the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of my community through chiropractic care.
