An Inside Look!

Dr. William L. Allen, DC is a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA. He received his bachelors from Excelsior College in Albany, New York. Dr. Allen is dedicated to his patients, their health and well-being. He takes time to listen and help everyone he meets. Dr. Allen has a supreme passion to reach as many through chiropractic care as possible, so he has expanded his calling beyond the Jamestown Family Chiropractic clinic to work as a mentor for others to assist them in improving their own lives, and thus reaching more people with the care that they so desperately need. Dr. William Allen uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start living a life or health and wellness. Dr. Allen is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). He is committed to assisting patients in reaching their maximum potential, whether in sports or everyday life.

I was born in Brandon, MS, and spent my childhood in Madison, MS, until I turned 18. Growing up in a small town, I cherished the comfort of seeing familiar faces daily. From a young age, I developed a passion for sports, playing basketball, football, baseball, golf, and tennis. Nowadays, I enjoy playing golf and cornhole whenever the weather is pleasant, and I love attending sporting events throughout the year.

I went on to attend the University of Mississippi, where I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Initially, I aimed to become a physical therapist, but after an insightful conversation with a chiropractor in Madison, Dr. Ray, I decided to pursue my education in Chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, Texas. Early in my studies, I realized that this profession was my true calling. Learning about the benefits of Chiropractic and conservative care inspired me to help as many people as possible. I graduated in December 2024 with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree, and during this journey, I formed wonderful connections, including with my amazing girlfriend, Dr. Shannon Di Iorio.

I've always been drawn to the beautiful state of Tennessee, which influenced my decision on where to begin my post-school life. After visiting several offices, I found that the doctors and staff at Crawford Family Chiropractic exemplified the southern hospitality I love and made me feel right at home. I believe God placed me there for a purpose that day, revealing my next step in this chapter of life. I am eager to meet and serve the wonderful people of Tennessee!

My first experience with chiropractic was very early on. I couldn’t even say 'chiropractic' yet, much less, knew what it was. I was only two, and like most that age, I was a wild heathen and I basically enjoyed doing anything my parents told me not to do. So jumping on the furniture and the bed was just one of those activities. One day while jumping on the bed I happened to fall off and consequently broke my left leg. Again, being a little 'Dennis the Menace' and thinking lightning wouldn’t strike twice, I decided while still in a cast, to jump on the bed again. And as a result, fell off the bed a second time… and yes, broke my other leg. So now being a two-year-old with two broken legs, both in casts all the way up, my dad decided it would be wise for me to see his chiropractor.

Chief Financial Officer

Lauren is our Chief Financial Officer and oversees the billing, finances, and budgets for the entire company. She started with the company in June of 2015 and accepted the C.F.O. position in February 2018! Her roles with the company have included Patient Services Representative where she worked at the front desk and moved into learning Billing and Coding with chiropractic, Chiropractic Therapy Assistant, Chiropractic X-Ray Technician, and Office/Financial Coordinator.

Britney is our Office Coordinator in our Jamestown Location. She is a certified Chiropractic Therapy Assistant (CTA) and has her certification as a Chiropractic X-ray Technician (CXT). She attended Roane State Community College where she graduated with an Associate in Allied Health Science. Britney is responsible for helping patients feel at ease and relaxed while they are in our office. Her goal is to always put patients first and to give them the absolute best care available.
